Profile
Freeman, also known as SergeantFreeman, is a VR DJ who performs in VRChat, a social VR platform. He is known for his energetic and creative mixes of various EDM genres, such as drum and bass, dubstep, bass house and midtempo.
Inspired by the VRChat venue Sanctum, a futuristic club that hosts live music events, Freeman started his DJing career in VRChat in June 2022. His first VRChat set was in July 2022 at club Vanguard. He co-founded the VRChat club Hive Mind with his friend Merlz, but he is not actively involved in running the club due to time constraints. Freeman’s favorite VRChat venue is Sanctum, where he aspires to play someday. He appreciates the club’s atmosphere and design, as well as its friendly staff and guests. He also likes to explore other VRChat clubs and venues to discover new music and meet new people. Some of his favorite artists are MUZZ, RIOT, REAPER, Millbrook, and Space Laces.
Freeman’s dream is to perform at a real-life music festival or concert. He hopes that one day he can share his music with a larger audience and meet some of his VR friends in person.
