Summary
Hive Mind, founded by Merlz and SergeantFreeman in August of 2022, is a self-described VR clubbing experience that aims to offer a curated‚ multi-genre experience․
History
After discovering DJing within virtual reality for themselves, Merlz and SergeantFreeman could be found hosting parties in public Club Orion-lobbies on thursdays for an approximate two months. Unfortunately, Freeman could not continue hosting these as life would keep him busy for a couple of weeks.
It was at this time Merlz decided to invite his newly found DJ-friends Wicho and Aupathix, to keep up with the tradition of parties on thursdays. Plans for the night were made and less than 24 hours before the scheduled rave, after noticing the names surprising availability, he would create a corresponding Discord server with the now familiar name: Hive Mind. The event that followed on September 1st 2022 would go down as the official "Edition #0" test run. Following editions were a surprising success, as DJs were eager to play. While the following "Edition #1" starred 4 DJs the following events would boast no less than 7 DJs playing a 1-hour-liveset each.
By "Edition #3", Hive Mind would leave public Club Orion-lobbies behind in favor of using a custom-made venue named The Hive, graciously provided by Mahne. This is where the regular events would keep up the bi-weekly pace they had picked up ever since "Edition #0", up until "Edition #10".
"Edition #10" would also be labelled the "XXL Edition", as it had no less than 12 DJs playing in the span of 9 hours on Friday, January 27th 2023. After this, regular Hive Mind editions would be on a 5-month-lasting timeout as founder Merlz would be on hiatus.
On June 1st 2023, Hive Mind would celebrate its 11th Edition with the grand reveal of a new venue called "Hive Nest" by Dr Nope.

Rules

At this point‚ it would be easier to just say don't be a d∗ck․ Also‚ NSFW avatars are prohibited inside the venue.
Trivia
- While broadcasting the full-length 10th Edition (aka. the XXL-Edition) on his twitch, Merlz fell asleep on-stream during the last performance of the night, leaving the broadcast running for another hour even after the event had ended. Medlish tried to wake up the sleepy event host by kicking him virtually, to no success.
