HISTORY
JeminisuVR, also known as Jemi, is a VRChat DJ and event organizer. They entered the world of music and DJing after meeting several staff members of VIBE TRIBE VR (VTVR). While Jemi had been a DJ for various clubs in the UK, they had to stop due to job requirements. Restarting their DJing journey in VRC seemed like a great idea as it offered more flexibility in terms of timing and musical choices.
In 2022, JeminisuVR joined the VTVR team to assist with photography during the various events. This provided clubbers with memorable photos to look back on from their time at VTVR. Jemi continued working as a photographer until the end of 2022, at which point they decided to dedicate more time and effort to organizing their own events.
EVENTS
JeminisuVR is currently working on three events in VRC:
1. HYPERNOVA: This club is dedicated specifically to trance genres, allowing DJs from around the world to play trance, psytrance, goa, and freeform music. Hypernova takes place on the last Saturday of every month during EU times.
2. VIVIFY: Co-owned by LOUNA ルーナ, VIVIFY is a multi-genre event that occurs every two weeks, also during EU times. It features a diverse range of music styles and genres.
3. PIXEL NOISE: Starting in 2023, PIXEL NOISE is a biannual music festival event co-owned by LOUNA ルーナ. It spans over a non-stop 3-day period and showcases multiple clubs and DJs.
MUSIC
JeminisuVR primarily focuses on harder music genres, including Hard Trance, Hard House, and Freeform Hardcore. However, they are also recognized for their skill in playing classic trance from the 90s and 2000s. Their repertoire showcases a diverse range of music within these genres.
